I discovered this momentary fact last night at about 9 pm. With 29 calves on the bottle... the first wave as I call it (17 cute but overly needy little calves), took me 1 hour and 45 minutes to feed! And I still had 11 more to go! Thankfully my grandmother helped me and we got the last ones done in about 20 minutes.
Thankfully someone is coming to take 6 of the little darlings today. At least now it might not take me so long. The newbies are what takes the most time. If the are good little ones they will take the bottle right off if not you have to fight to make them eat. NOT GOOD!
Sewing has been taking a back seat to everything. What with calving and the gardens (both flower and veggie), the yard, and the rain. RAIN RAIN RAIN!!!!!! Oh I wish it would just go away for a few days to let things dry out. Then come back for a nice shower. Nothing like being picky. :)
