After living in an old, cold (no insulation), drafty (single pane OLD windows), heat absorbing, small house... WE ARE GOING TO BE GETTING A NEW ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will finally have sewing room!!! And we won't be cold in the winter. We could never get it about 65 in the winter or under 78 in the worst of the summer. No worries about snakes coming through some unseen hole or dropping through the ceiling. No more rain coming through the roof because our soon to be past lender took the money from the insurance that would have fixed the roof. NO MORE MOLD!!!!!!
We close today, and construction will begin on Tuesday and if all goes well we will be pouring the footings on Wednesday. OH yes... We are getting a Fuqua home. They are modular NOT manufactured. So we will have instant equity. Also if you go to their website you can see "our" house it is in the Lodge section and it is #3471.
In other news... we have managed to survive the heat wave. The cows have done pretty good. I have been trying to find hay. And so yet again am dealing with hay people. Oh how I wish we could grow our own feed.
Our nutritionist came this week. I thought he had all but given up on me and the moos and was bemoaning my fate. But all is well and good. Come to find out he had had cancer and then had an infection afterwards. Thankfully he is OK and as he said "it's all good".
