There is good and bad to everything don't you think. Just like yesterday... We preg. checked 86 head. For the most part they are all bred! Yee haw, do the dance of joy, lets celebrate to ZEB who has and is getting the job done!
Then the bad. I have a little Pomeranian... Well really I've had 3 Camie died 10 years ago, and Muffin died I don't remember how long ago... I think 4 or 5... So I'm left with Sadie... Muffins full sister. They look nothing alike. Anyway... Sadie hasn't been feeling well the last few weeks, lost weight, sleeps, won't eat... she's just not herself. So yesterday I took her to our pet vet. After blood work and X-rays... she has cancer in her lungs, and several other places. She's not in pain, she's just fading away. He put her on an antibiotic and something to give her some comfort to breath a little better. I think it was more for my benefit than hers... just so I can feel I'm doing something to help. I managed to get to the vehicle before I started crying.
And to top it off I'm not getting feed for the cows until Tuesday because of, I don't know who up at the plant! ARGH... I called almost 2 weeks ago, when they called yesterday they told I wasn't even down... If I would have had the energy I would have screamed, inside that is. Now I have to figure out how to feed 96 head with nothing.
