What a Christmas!!!

It's been quite a day here. It all started when I went out to check on a dry cow who I thought might calve last night, but then decide... Nope it's not going to happen. OK I admit it I was WRONG. I can admit when I'm wrong... most of the time that is. Well I go out and she had had a little red HEIFER!!! A Christmas heifer! I was thrilled... OH so happy. So I was going about the day trying to get the chores done as fast as I could. So while feeding my big heifers I notice a little brown baby running around in the other dry cow pasture.

Yes 2 Christmas babies... and then could it be.... NOOO it couldn't, YES it is... another baby!!! 3 yes that's right THREE baby calves!!! On Christmas!!! I couldn't believe it... dare I hope for another heifer... YES I dare... and Yes there were 2... then I go to check the third baby... and would you believe it's a heifer too!!! 3, THREE, THREE
I was in a state of shock, I was so thrilled, I was thanking and praising God, and screaming for joy. If I were a bird I would have flown as fast and as high as I could and sang on the way.

So Holly, Promise, and Evie are all snuggled down in the barn. Fed and warm. I'm still in a state of shock, still happy, but soon reality will set in. It already has with feeding them tonight. They all had to be tubed since they were snots and wouldn't take their bottles. :) I hope everyone has had a wonderful Christmas!
