Me and my big mouth...

It's a known fact that sometimes I have a gift for being tactless and there for sometimes there are somethings that I can NOT say something about. This doesn't happen very often. But it has happened recently.

As you all know I sew and piece quilts, well I had recently picked up the latest issue of Quilters Home Magazine. For the most part this mag. is a good one. But there is ALWAYS something that just sets me off. Well this issue was no different. The editor had found Gay fabric on eBay, so guess what!!! He put the fabric in the mag. ! Anyway this is what I wrote to the magazine.
I'm sure nothing will come of it. But one never knows. I intend when time allows to write to all the advertisers as well. If they agree with his choice of things I intend not to purchase their products.

To whom this may or may not concern,

I was never more shocked when I picked up the latest issue of Quilters Home to find gay fabric pictured in it. While this may be fine for others, I don't like it, and I wouldn't like it if it had been a man and woman fondling each other. If you get a thrill from this fine, but what about the rest of us. Should we all subjected to what you deem is morally OK? I don't think so. I may be in the minority, but I'll guarantee you this. There are far more people who feel the way I do than you might think. They just don't want to rock the boat and say anything.

I think rest of the magazine is great, but there is always something in every issue that just keeps pushing the line. I will not be buying your magazine again, at least not until there is a new editor who knows when to stop pushing their views on others.

This has nothing to do with ones sexual orientation. I don't care one way or the other what people do in their personal lives, but do I have to read it and see the fabric that someone has come up with for these personal times????

Thank you,

Sara B.
