Next in line is to check on the everyone in the barn... Hello Velma! Hmm yet again NO kids. Nope not a one. Maybe tomorrow, as she doesn't look like she'll do anything today. Grrr
Next we check on Royal and her crew... yup all there and seem to be doing just fine!... Thank goodness.
Now for a look see out the back of the barn... still gloomy and wet and have I mentioned MUDDY?
Now it's on the the milk barn... Ahhh it's LBC's all wet and wanting to be fed and milked for the Morning. BTW This is Nettie... We are praying for a bull calf out of her... Why you may ask... Well it's like this. I'm trying to use up "bulls" in our semen tank... Well there is this one bull I detest and wouldn't have bred her to him if I had been paying attention. Anyway I grabbed the wrong straw and I'm hoping she either has a bull or won't take. How awful is that of me. We only have one heifer out of this bull and well... she is the kind that you just want to hide when people come.
OK we are done with chores and are heading in... yes this the drippy, wet, muddy :) view from the milk barn. Note where the house should be going... and isn't there yet. I'm waiting for a call from Leonard today... hopefully he will be back from Florida, where he is picking up a crane, but got delayed with a weight and axle issues and had to cancel our meeting with our engineer last Friday.Sigh... how we had wanted to be in a nice DRY house this spring...
Right now it's snowing like you wouldn't believe. Before that it was sleeting and icing the tree and everything else.
