Well I've been up since, well before 6 this morning. Since I'm not one for clocks by my bed I haven't a CLUE as to what the time was when I awoke from my not so peaceful slumber. After staying in bed for a while trying to will my eyelids open and face the new day before me!!! No I'm not that happy about it... as I've said before and I'll say it again. I am NOT a morning person.
Anyway I got the milk samples ready to go to the lab to be tested. We are having some, dare I say it... ISSUES with cows having high SCC (Somatic Cell Count). So now that we have narrowed down the "girls" we can keep them out and help them get over it.
I was gone the better part of the day. I didn't mean to be, but it just happened that way. If I wasn't at a red light I was in traffic, in line, or waiting and waiting and waiting. Not that I mind waiting. Waiting is good... Right? RIGHT! It instills patience, a cheerful attitude, and when those things fly out the window you can always stop on the warm summer days for a Caramel Java Chiller at Sonic! :) And I was so good and cheerful that I didn't have to resort to that... but it would have been soooo yummy.
