Drippy Days

Yesterday was a drippy day, today is going to be a drippy day... and it looks like Friday - Sunday will be also. Which is good. Since we are in desperate need of rain, moisture, precipitation... Thankfully August is still below normal for temps, we've not gotten out of the mid 80's since the first of the month. It's making ever one wonder about the kind of winter we are going to have. It will be interesting to see...

Yesterday was a full day. The temp. control on the bulk tank was acting funky, so I had to call our service guy to come fix it. WELL HE NEVER did show, BUT he sent someone else to fix it. I prayed before he got here that it wouldn't cost over $100.00 knowing full well that if it was the coil it would be at least $200.00. When he got here it was going to have to be a whole new temp. controller... Keeping the faith during this wasn't easy, knowing full well that would be over $300.00. As it turns out... PRAISE the LORD the new controller wouldn't work! So he re calibrated the old one and it's working! SO for under $100.00 it's working. God is so good... Now I just need to get my faith up and running to keep the barn going for years at a time. :)

In other news, 2 new HEIFERS!!!! Yes I just said that magical, wonderful, perfect word... HEIFER... female baby bovine have been born! One just moments ago. Something good is happening after all.

Have you ever noticed that it's easier to have faith with you can SEE the results immediately? Trust is a hard thing for me... meaning having faith is hard. As you can't have faith without trust, and hope. Hope I can do, Trust... well I can now say I'm fulling trusting God... and God alone. I'm NOT there totally... but I am on my way. I try not to ask WHY God WHY nearly so much. :)
