Where does the time seem to go. For me I can't say... I wish I knew. Chores, errands, cleaning... eating, sleeping, chores... I feel lost in a sea of the to-dos. And at some point a tad bit overwhelmed.
Thursdays are always really hectic around here. This past one was even more so because I had to go to town early and get grain to tide us over. I had ordered feed for WEDNESDAY. I called at 8AM on TUESDAY to make SURE they had enough time to get the feed to me the next day. Well I was having issues with the feed and to make a long story short: We didn't get feed, we couldn't milk because we were without feed that night, and we couldn't start until I had gotten some bagged feed and unloaded all that into the bucket of the tractor to then be dumped into the "bin".
I was a little hot under the collar over this. After all it doesn't come out of their pay because we lost milk. Nope all I get is sorry...
Friday was spent running errands in the AM and cleaning in the afternoon.
Today... Right now all I want to do is sleep. But going back to bed isn't going to be an option. So maybe I'll get the plastic over the windows. To at least keep some of the cold air and wind out this winter. This is somewhat depressing. Since we all thought that we would be in the new house before another winter rolled around. Oh well so it goes... Right?
HEY here's an idea for today... making cookies! It's been a long time since I've made cookies... Now to decide which ones... hmmm Oatmeal, Peanut Butter, or Molasses... Or I could go with all three and freeze!
