It's too early

I just can't sleep... I've been awake for over an hour and a half at this point. All I want is some SLEEP! Is this really asking to much? I AM taking a nap today I don't care if I'm late getting out for chores this evening.

Yesterday was a long day... chores, cleaning, sorting... Keep piles, give away piles, trash piles... chores, unloading wood, bring in wood. After all we have to keep some what warm. This year we won't be able to use our gas stove to heat the back bedrooms and bathroom, because... of all the rain this spring. As you'll remember we had a terrible, horrific, monster of a downpour many moons ago. SO now the stove isn't going to be used. I'm sure though that someone SOME where is blaming us for it. Oh well so it goes... This is a ducky moment... You make ask what a ducky moment is....

A Duckey Moment: letting whatever it is roll of your back like water off of a duck's back...

Right now I'm thinking about Spring... you can never get to much of a head start I say. What I want to grow, wondering how soon the seed catalogs will be coming out. Like everything else we just keep moving it up... We have gone straight from Halloween to Christmas for pity sakes. At our local grocery store they had the Christmas decorations up BEFORE Halloween!

Have we for gotten there are holidays in November? Veterans Day and Thanksgiving to just name the two I can think of. They are also Postal holidays :) Anyway... It seems in an effort to make the holidays happier for retailers we need to be bombarded with Christmas music, pre-pre-pre Christmas sales and offers. And NO I'm not meaning to be a bah Humbug... it's just... It's just shouldn't we now more than ever be showing and giving our thanks and Praise to the one who's birth we will be celebrating next month? Standing up for our belief's and not be ashamed? Has this country just totally for gotten the God fearing men who gave us this country? What would they think of what this country has become?
And also to the men and women who are serving our country? What of the ones who never came home... be it they where killed action, were taken prisoner... that about them?

This is what happens when I'm not getting enough sleep. :)
