Winter weather and it's not even winter yet...

OK these pictures loaded in the opposite way that I had wanted them to. So it goes

The first and second ones here are from the winter storm after affects. Just so you know. We were supposed to get 2-4" of the white stuff last night. Again prayer works. It doesn't look hardly any different than it did from this picture. Our high yesterday was 14 above. BRR big time. Today's high is going to be 25... The heatwave is coming on Thursday however. It's supposed to be in the 50's! These next three pictures are from Sunday afternoon (late) when the storm was moving in from the north and west. Temps were in the 60's at this point. This first one is looking more North than west.

And this one was facing towards the south.

I managed to get the tree decorated yesterday. :) After Winnie chewed a strand of lights and I found some more in the shop that is. There is no star on the top as I couldn't find the one I had bought on clearance last year or was it 2 years ago... I don't know. Anyway I wasn't going out on very slick roads to get one at Wally world. You know the roads are bad when your Mennonite neighbors are going slow. The go about 60MPH up and down these country roads normally. Yesterday they managed 20 MPH if that. And even then they where slipping and sliding. One or two went in the ditch to the east of us late last evening.

I have no plans on venturing out on the roads today. There is nothing we need at the moment. So why chance it? Right? I'll go tomorrow if need be.
