Vilsack calls for stricter food labels Who knows. I for one would like to know if my pork comes from Canada or the USA. Not a label which says either or. And wouldn't it be nice to know if the butter you buy is imported? And why not take it a step farther and have the COOL for ingredients. I know I for one would like to know my cheese doesn't contain MPC's from India or any of the other countries that we import from.
Why can't we be more like Canada. I believe they aren't supposed to allow processors to us MPC's. I'm sure I read that some where. I'll have to do some research on that. Later y'all
