Is almost tomorrow. The day started with Monarch going into milk fever and her treatment. Thankfully she wasn't to bad off and could still walk. OK stagger. Good ole Barometric pressure will do it ever time. She was much better this evening and we gave her another tube of calcium. She was bound and determined to go where she shouldn't. That's just par for the course. She'll be milked in the morning when she if fully steady on her feet. I'm so very glad she wasn't down and needing an IV.
Having said all that... the chocolate cake making never happened. It was a frozen chocolate cake wife coffee ice cream instead. Thankfully the brisket turned out well along with the potato salad. It makes it seem that warmer weather is really and truly on the way.
Tonight we dried off some cows. Several of whom need to go into my close up dry cow pen. It's so nice having them close up where I can keep a good I on them. So far there are 10 up close and waiting to "pop".
I'm hoping and praying the rain goes far north of us or south. We really don't need any rain right now.
