Like it is really going to make any difference since my job doesn't end at the end of the week, however I'm thankful today is over with. It's been a long one.
Stacy and Janell both calved both bulls. What is up with all these bull calves?! I think the "girls" got together last May and decided to have mostly little boy bovine to watch me go into the dumps and give a funny face of disgusted at them. I know they are secretly laughing behind my back. Oh well I'll just have to love the little fellers even though that I would love to love some little girl babies. OK Daisy, Spirit, Tracy, Betty G. ... are all still in the waiting.
Good things that happened today. Jerrett's came and finished up the excavation, B. got the sink to drain in the kitchen (this old house is turning against us), we found some hay for the moo's tonight, all babies are doing well (Rivera, Blossom, George, Mitford, Miss Magoo, Bingo, Stonewall, Jeffro how do I do it? what odd little names for these baby bovines), the sun shined and it was in the 60's... and last but not least... it's almost bed time and I didn't fall, trip, or loose my cool today.
