Finally!!!

Well I finally got it done, 10 more cows were dried up as of last night! While I won't be happy about the drop in milk, it was needing to be done for their best good. Right? No new calves yesterday, but the dry cows desided to move themselves to another pasture. I was going to anyway on Monday but someone or something opened a gate and I didn't know it until it was to late. Oh well so it goes.

I tried two new recipes yesterday, both were really very good. Sunny Citrus Lemonade and Blackberry Sorbet. The sorbet was a little on the tart side, but still very good. And the lemonade was just TOOOOOO good.

Here is the recipe for it:

Sunny Citrus Lemonade

5 each of lemons, limes and oranges

3 qts water

1 and 1/2 - 2 cups sugar

Juice 4 each of the lemons, limes, and oranges. Thinly slice the remaining fruit and reserve. Add the fruit juices, sugar and water to a gallon container, stir well and add sliced fruit and refrigerate. Serves 12-18 people Note: I think it would be much easier to just get lemon, lime and orange juice and NOT juice them. Just a thought.
