What a week

Last week was something else altogether. It all started out with our contractor finding and engineer to sign off on the I-beam that the house will be sitting on. So far we know that it's an almost done deal, and L isn't going to panic about it for a while. This gives me a warm fuzzy feeling y'all. So this is how I feel about it, WHY should I worry if he's not going to worry. Answer: Because I don't think we know the whole extent of the matter. Oh well so it goes.

Secondly we are in national violation with our feed bin being so close to the power line. WHO KNEW!!! We all here were in shock, L' was shocked and everyone else that we've told. So we have to move the bin before they will start with the power lines for the house. Everyone wants to blame everyone else. The people who put it in won't as of yet move it with out charging us. EVEN though it's their fault and they should have known NOT to put it there. Since as the head electrical engineer said. It was in violation when it was put up 7 years ago.

Nothing else has really been going on since we can't move forward with the basement until the I-beam gets here, and we can't move forward with the electricity until the bin is moved.

Scout is healing nicely, but is getting depressed over the fact that she can't do what she wants to do when she wants to do it. One week down 3 to go. Everyday she goes to the truck and just looks at it then at me. It about breaks my heart. How do you tell a dog that your keeping her safe for her own good and not being mean? Maybe lots of dog treats... :)
