Auctions...

Yesterday, I fully decided something. After standing for 4 hours... pert near anyway... to bid on some chairs at the auction my Aunt and Uncle had. I decided that cattle sales, auctions, buying... is SO much better! The smell of pine shavings, cows, people who understand you... Bleachers! Yes my dear friends...cattle auctions are the best to go to.

I got the chairs by the way. For less than half of what we offered to give our Aunt for them. She wouldn't take $100.00 for each of them. They were going on the sale. In true Aunt Linda fashion... So since no body wanted them but me really... and I gave $40.00 a piece. Also there is a little older lady I ticked off. There were these old Collier Weekly magazines. Anyway long story short I got them and she didn't... Every time she looked at me her little lips just pursed up. Oh well so it goes.

Hey I just found out something good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our butterfat.... it's a 4.95!!!!!!!!!!!! For those of you who don't know the wonderfulness of this. I'll try to explain. This means... I think... someone correct me if I'm wrong. That our milk is 4.95% fat. We get paid extra on anything over 3.5% For the last few years the girls couldn't manage even a 4.1 and that was with a horrible bulk tank average. I'm glad... so very glad.
