Where does the time go

How can it be that almost a week has gone by? My how time does fly when your having fun... It also flies when your busy and lose track of the time. Like me... Everyday I think I'm going to sit down and just do a little bit on here. HA the time gets aways just like that! *snapping fingers here*

We had a soggy memorial day. I smoked some ribs and the day before I had done a brisket. Now that was GOOD. I need to improve on my doing ribs. I just don't have it down pat yet. Brisket and pork roast I'm getting fair to middlen on.

The day before yesterday our water heater decided that after 10 years of faithful service to give up the ghost. Of course it went right after chores were done for the evening meaning no hot showers just cold if you dared. That's one thing I really don't like and that's a cold shower , UNLESS it's super hot out and the calves have been really super naughty and gotten milk and calf slobber all over my legs and the flies are biting as it's going to rain. AND to top it off... you've had a new baby and that baby decided to poop ALL over you as your getting him out of the truck... OK you've guessed...Yes it's happened to me before... more than once... more than twice...

Hmm what else is going on... We've had one new bull calf (I think he was sent of the Devil...). The cows are doing as well as can be expected... and nothing much else is going on. OH I did how ever come up with a really super good Bean salad recipe... truth be told I had found a recipe and modified it to my families tastes. I'll be posting the recipe on my recipe blog...
