Another Monday...

Why is it that people seem to dread Mondays? I know I do... I can understand more why the 9-5 group does, kids, but for the life of me I can't understand why me, myself and I do. Yes we three are doing well today. :) KIDDING... one personality is enough for me! Sometimes I'm even more than I can take.





Today has been a gloomy day. Rain in the forecast... boo hiss boo! All in all just a very overcast and dismal day in SWMO. Just a glimpse of the sun would be wonderful. However I don't think that's going to happen today.





Nothing much is really going on farm wise. I'm weaning 3 more babies. So I only have 2 at night to feed. It's so odd! One bull, one heifer. Eleazar and Roycelynn... Eleazar is... OH so naughty! After he is done with his bottle he likes to go and nurse the heifers! ARGH!!! And little Roycelynn... or as I now call her Baby cakes... is just the sweetest thing.

All these babies born at this time of the year I tend to love on a little more. It's simply this... I don't have 20-50 on the bottle at one time... I can enjoy them more when I only have a few to care for. Sad but true... I love to sit in a pen of a few babies and just love on them. And when they get older and are milking... I just love when I can lean on them, scratch their tail head, ears, cheeks... I can even take getting a cow "kiss". So people like horses, others cats, or wild animals... ME... I love bovines is varying shades of brown and red. Big bugged out brown eyed bovines...
