What a day...

I feel like I have been flung from one end of my small and ever growing world, to the other end. I can say this: today was the first time I had to park in a parking garage, the first time I've been in a city over 150,000 in population, the first time I've been in a building over 10 stories (I guess a hospital counts as a building ... RIGHT?), also I'm so glad to be HOME. Four lane cow paths are all I can really handle and not be stressed out, I missed my baby moos, dogs, the AIR. Concrete and high rises just aren't my speed. I'm more of a slowpoke in the scheme of things... I'm country and PROUD of it!

I'm also thankful that the elections are over. And that's all I'm going to say. Our prayers are still needed for our newly elected officials and country. At least on the state level here things went well.

OK I've been awake to long and driven a LOT today. Signing off from "Podunk", MO... and thanking God for it. There's no place like home!

I, too, am a country girl. Your thoughts reminded me of my first college days near New York City: insane traffic, rude check-out girls literally screaming at customers, blowing my nose and having black gunk come out. Not pretty. I played like Dorothy, and just kept saying, "There's no place like home. There's no place like home."

Nice blog, Sara. I've added you to my roll. And thanks for the shout out!
