It seems as if we are slowly starting the on rush of the baby bovines. 3 heifers and a bull calf last night. I wonder what today will bring. It hit me yesterday as I was walking back out towards the milk barn, THAT if I keep all the bull calves that at some point in the next 6 weeks I will have over 70 babies on the bottle at one time! 70!!!!!!! I get woozy at the thought of it. Maybe running away would be a good option?! It will be nice to have the cows milking and not just carrying them. And it will be nice to have some cash flow again. These last several months have been stressful and I don't want to feel like that again.
Everything else is going well here. I have decided though that everyday I will do something that brings me joy. It seems anymore (at least for me) we get caught up in the rush and hurry of life that we forget what brings us any happiness.
