What a month!!!

I'm glad today is the last day of Oct. This month has been nothing but trouble... or so it seems... There have been good points.

Yesterday was a big day around here. I had an early appt. to get my eyes checked and get new glasses. My old ones where so scratched that if I did read with them the ink was gray, not black. And driving at night has been a pain also. Any way! I got that done, then I had to pick up oil filters for the tractor. Some how I got lost, BUT! I got back on track. If they hadn't moved the store I would have been fine! :)

I came home and was here in time to talk with the IBA guy (Rick). He'd already been talking to mom and my grandmother I believe. So it's all good... He promised me things would get better with the house, and I'm holding him to it!

Jeff our milk hauler came while Rick was here... boy was he in a fowl mood. So I left as I wasn't in the mood to listen to everything that's wrong.

The engineer came at about 2:30. He seems like a sensible man. FINALLY!!! At least now we are getting what we want and hopefully back on track. We'll have a new bid to finish construction so the house can get on ASAP.

Today is going to be a good day! By faith if nothing else!!!!
