Good morning from a chilly (18 degrees) LBC Dairy. Today's high is going to be 38! OHHH man I can hardly wait for spring... What was I thinking in wanting to move to CANADA!? Nothing wrong with living there... but it's COLD... they are farther north than I am. I bet ya'll didn't know that Canada is indeed to the north of us. Well it is... now you know. :)
A good thing happened yesterday. I received the FIRST seed catalog of the season!!!!! I was so thrilled. I sat down for a half hour and just looked it over. Dreaming of seeds and sprouts, berries and flowers, books and gadgets... Mentally planning out next years garden, row by crooked row, various bovine running here and there through it... getting frustrated at the bovine doing so... then it was over and life goes on. :)
OH UPDATE on the house to come... I don't have time right now BUT I will post it later on today or this evening.

Yep, it's cold here in upstate NY, too - 16 degrees at this writing.
You, however, have been blessed with a seed catalog. I'm stuck with looking at photos of my spring flowers. :)
Anything with a negative infront of the number isn't good... I think it's bad when we get down into the teens... More to be thankful for all the time! Altough if we had a warm house I don't think I would mind the cold so much.
Yep, a warm house makes a big difference. We have a huge old house (1860's) and the upstairs is always warmer than the downstairs. But come January and February, it doesn't matter where you are. If you're sitting down, you need sweats and a throw on your lap.
Here's praying you get your new house done. How's that going?
