The heat and humidity...

OK I'm trying not to complain over the recent heat, but the humidity is something else! It's almost unbearable at times. The moos are hot and I'm sure would complain if they could. Trying to keep the cool and happy is impossible but we are doing the best we can. Right now we are hoping for rain, amazingly enough things are getting a little dry. And with mom clipping the pastures it would be great to get a rain to help jump start the growth again. :)

I don't know for sure how many babies we've had since I last posted. All I know is that we dried 3 cows up and 4 have freshened. 3 heifers and 1 bull!!! Yippee Skippee!!! Those are the kind of numbers I like. So now we are back up to 28 on the bottle. I'm needing to ear tag the heifers soon before I forget who's who's.

Not much is happening around here but the normal everyday stuff... We are on the hunt for peaches though. The April freeze wiped out the peach crop and a lot of the blueberry crop. So now we are looking towards other states for them...
